By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

Where the user is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must authorise use of the platform and accept responsibility for the minor’s compliance with these Terms.

Make School Click provides structured, CAPS-aligned educational resources, including:

  • Video lessons

  • Audio lessons

  • Infographics

  • Flashcards

  • Quizzes

  • Curriculum-bound AI-assisted academic support

The platform is designed to support learning. It does not replace formal schooling, qualified educators, or professional advice.

3. Educational Disclaimer

While Make School Click strives to ensure accuracy and alignment with the CAPS curriculum:

  • No guarantee is made regarding academic performance or examination outcomes.

  • Content is provided for educational support purposes only.

  • Users remain responsible for verifying understanding and consulting teachers where necessary.

The platform does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

4. AI-Assisted Features

The platform includes curriculum-bound artificial intelligence tools.

Users acknowledge that:

  • AI responses are generated automatically.

  • Responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies or incomplete explanations.

  • AI tools are restricted to academic subject support.

AI features must not be used for unlawful, inappropriate, or non-educational purposes.

Use of AI tools is further governed by the AI Learner Safety Policy.

5. Account Registration and Security

Users may be required to create an account to access certain features.

Users agree to:

  • Notify us of unauthorised access

  • Interfere with platform security or functionality

  • Audio recordings

  • Branding

  • Platform design

  • AI-structured outputs

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Where paid subscriptions are offered:

  • Fees, billing cycles, and renewal terms are disclosed prior to purchase.

  • Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.

  • Users are responsible for managing cancellations prior to renewal.

Payments are processed by authorised third-party providers. Make School Click does not store full payment card details.

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable platform access. However:

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

  • Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues.

  • We are not liable for losses arising from service downtime beyond our reasonable control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under South African law:

  • Make School Click shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

  • Liability for direct damages shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the preceding subscription period.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights afforded under the Consumer Protection Act or limits liability for gross negligence or unlawful conduct.

11. Data Protection

Personal information is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and our Privacy Policy.

Users have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where:

  • These Terms are breached

  • The platform is misused

  • There is suspected unlawful activity

Access may also be discontinued in the event of business restructuring or service modification.

13. Amendments

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
